About Us

Through guiding and witnessing the poverty and scarce resources in those very communities who graciously welcomed him, Dean Cardinale made a commitment to include humanitarian efforts as a component of all future expeditions. During the pursuit of his Seven Summits bid, this commitment led to the formation of Human Outreach Project (HOP), a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.

To carry out its mission, HOP relies on the generous contributions of our donors. Financial contributions make the largest impact, and can be used  to purchase supplies and support long-term infrastructure in the communities we visit. HOP focuses on projects which are dedicated to promoting to the health, development, and education of orphaned children.

We coordinate the purchase, transportation, and delivery of items that range from dental hygiene kits and recreational equipment for orphaned children living in remote Himalayan regions of Mount Everest, to school and health supplies for the Kilimanjaro Kids Community in Tanzania, Africa.
