Human Outreach Project held its annual Gala in the Golden Cliff room of Snowbird Resort on December 29th, 2016. Founder Dean Cardinale illustrated the Human Outreach Project’s story and presented the annual report. Attendees learned how donated money helped those in need throughout the course of the year. He also detailed plans for future spending.
Participants enjoyed a full course of food including two drink tickets for adults. All guests received a copy of the annual report as well as stickers and donation pledge cards. HOP raffled off more than $5,000 in goods from brands including The North Face, Reynolds Wheels, Goal Zero, World Wide Trekking, and more.
More than 200 people attended the celebration including Geljen Sherpa, HOP’s Nepalese Ambassador and Raymond Massae, HOP’s Tanzanian Ambassador. Crowd favorites included three videos that highlighted the big projects of 2016. Accomplishment, emotion, applause and laughs filled the evening.
This year, HOP celebrates their 10-year anniversary.
